Meal Plans

Q. Can I try Eat Conscious meals before signing up?

A. We understand that every individual has different taste buds. Our Nutritionist have designed the meals that can satisfy most of the palates. We are confident about our product & will be more than happy to allow you to try our meals for a day or a week. Once you are convinced with the quality and the taste of our meals, you can pay the difference for the remaining days.

Q. How many calories does each day meal contain?

A. Remember your nutritional needs are specific to your body type, age, gender, your training & so on. During the consultation the dietician will discuss the suitable plan & will recommend the calories based on your health profile.

Q. What time do I need to consume my Eat Conscious meal?

A. Food is like a drug; you must take the right dose at the right time! Proper timing for consuming each meal & snack will be discussed with you at the time of consultation. Also, timings will be mentioned on your daily menu.

Q. How long does the Eat Conscious meals stay fresh?

A. Our meals are prepared FRESH, packaged and sealed in eco-friendly containers. The delivery is done in an insulated cooler bag in chiller vans to maintain the utmost quality and to meet the highest standards of safety. You just need to keep the food refrigerated from receiving time till consumption. This allows the meals to stay fresher longer.

Q. How do I select my menu?

A. Eat Conscious catering services has 28-day menu rotation that provides you with a wide range of variety. You can highlight your choosen dishes and send it back to our dedicated customer service at least 24 working hours prior to your next scheduled delivery.

Q. What food should I avoid while on the plan?

A. You should stick to the meal plan with an allowance of little indulgence over on occasions.

Q. How much coffee or tea am I allowed to have?

A. You may have 2-3 cups of tea or coffee with or without milk but without sugar.

Q. How can I renew my Eat Conscious plan?

A. Our expert customer service takes complete responsibility to contact you before your plan ends & helps you to renew your package.

Cooler Bags

Q. How are Eat Conscious empty bags collected?

A. Cooler bags and ice packs must be returned DAILY in similar condition as they were delivered. Do not return the bags with anything but our ice packs left in them. Please leave the bag(s) out each night, our driver will pick it up when he delivers your next Healthy Meal.

For any un-returned bag/ ice pack, a re-stocking fees of AED 25/bag and AED 10/set of ice packs will apply if you discontinue the service. At the conclusion of your program, If the bag is not left out, AED 25 fee will be charged to your account.

Q. Do I have to be there to receive my Eat Conscious bags?

A. No, once your bag is delivered you will receive a Whatsapp alert of the delivery.

The Shipment Process

Q. What time should I expect my Eat Conscious meals to be delivered?

A. Eat Conscious delivery team will offer you a wide range of options. Our customer service personnel will help you to schedule your delivery timings.

Q. Do Eat Conscious delivers the meals every day?

A. Yes, we have deliveries every day except Fridays however we can provide you two bags on Thursday to consume the meals on Friday.

Q. Can my Eat Conscious meals be delivered at different location on Weekends?

A. Yes if you prefer, we can deliver your meals on the week days at your office & the weekends to home.

Q. Where does Eat Conscious deliver in UAE?

Eat Conscious Meals can be delivered at following emirates:

  1. Dubai
  2. Sharjah
  3. Abu Dhabi
  4. Al Ain
  5. RAK
  6. Al Ghadeer

Q. What if I go out of town during a scheduled meal delivery & need to take time off?

A. We take pride in providing you with the highest quality of food service possible. Our meals are prepared fresh every single day. Please notify your customer service at least 24 to 48 hours prior to the day you want your service to be temporarily suspended by email us at cc@eatconscious.ae We will suspend your deliveries for the dates you mentioned to the best of our ability.

The total number of suspended days will then be added to the end date of your program. If you have suspended your program without knowing your restart date, we require 3-calendar days’ notice to recommence your healthy meal delivery service.

Q. If I travel a lot, can I do the program?

A. Yes of course. Just inform our customer service either by phone or by email at least 3 calendar days prior to the day you want your service to be suspended temporarily, mentioning the dates of travel every time before you travel.

Remember, payment made for one-month package is valid for 60 days from the first delivery.

Q. What payment methods you offer?

Below are the ways you can pay-

Q. Is there any referral discount?

Yes, we have referral discount offer which is

  1. AED 100 for each client who has joined for a Complete Plan
  2. AED 50 for each client who has joined AM / PM Plan

Q. Do you have a cancellation policy?

A. If you are not satisfied with either the product or service provided by Eat Conscious, we will provide you with a refund. We require 3-calendar days’ notice prior to cancellation; you will be refunded for any unused portion of your program less 20% handling and administration fee. All programs purchased with a promotional rate and cancelled prior to the completion of the program, are subject to be charged the non-promotional price (regular price) for days delivered. Refunds will be issued in accordance with the payment method on record within 30 days of receipt of cancellation.

Lifestyle

Q. If I am not hungry, should I still eat all the meals?

A. You should eat all meals that are delivered and scheduled for each day. The dietician makes sure that your daily nutritional requirements are met. Your meal plan has been designed to provide you with essential nutrients necessary based on your goal. To get maximum benefit from our plans, please respect the timings of consuming meals as advised.

Q. What if I am still hungry?

A. Drinking one to two glasses of water before your meals will help with any hunger you may be feeling. Generally, the first 2 weeks of our program you will notice some hunger pangs and subsequently, the food cravings will fade as your body gets used to the calories that you are consuming. Sometimes we mistake our body as it being hungry when you are dehydrated. Make sure you are drinking a lot of water to prevent constipation as our meal plans are high in fiber.

If you are still very hungry, during the first 2 weeks of transition, you can add raw or steamed veggies to your meals. Green vegetables are loaded with fiber, water, and nutrients, but are very low in calories. If you wish to use any dressing for the salad, we recommend vinaigrette dressing or lemon juice. This provides a good way to add bulk to your meals without sabotaging your results.

Q. Can I consume alcohol while on a meal plan? Does it affect the result?

A. Alcohol can be consumed in moderation- 1 glass of red wine per day, but you must omit a snack from the days’ meals. Remember that alcohol and caloric beverages like juice or soda not only add calories, but raise insulin levels, which can hamper your results.

Q. Should I exercise while on Eat conscious Program?

YES! Fitness is a way of life. Everyone benefits from exercise regardless of age, sex or physical ability. Physical activity can lead to a happier, healthier you. The health benefits of regular exercise and physical activity are hard to ignore like

  1. Exercise can help prevent weight gain.
  2. Exercise delivers oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and helps your cardiovascular system work more efficiently. It keeps your blood flowing smoothly, which decreases your risk of cardiovascular diseases.
  3. Regular exercise helps prevent or manage a wide range of health problems and concerns, including stroke, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, depression, several types of cancer, arthritis and falls.
  4. Physical activity stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave you feeling happier and more relaxed. It also boosts your confidence and improve your self-esteem.
  5. Regular physical activity can improve your muscle strength and boost your endurance.
  6. Regular physical activity can help you fall asleep faster and deepen your sleep.

Find a physical activity you enjoy, and space out your activities throughout the week. Remember to check with your doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you haven’t exercised for a long time or have chronic health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes or arthritis, or you have any concerns.

Q. Can I sign up for eat conscious meal plans if I have any food allergies/ intolerance?

A. If you have any food allergies, please inform to the dietician during consultation. She will decide whether you can sign up or not. If she will accommodate, strictly follow the instructions given by her while choosing the menu.

For moderate to severe gluten allergies we cannot recommend meal plans for you. We do have Non-Cordelia gluten sensitive menu for people having gluten intolerance, but this menu will be provided only at the discretion of our dietician.

Q. How much can I lose for the first month?

A. Weight loss depends on various factors viz your body composition, age, consistent in plan consumption, commitment to exercise & whether you have any medical condition or not. You can discuss your expected results during the consultation with the dietitian.
